Altoona Mirror, 1891 No Paper Tomorrow In consequence of the death of Mr. Slep's mother there will be no issue of the Mirror tomorrow evening. The business office will remain open during the morning hours, but at noon will be closed and so remain until Saturday morning. The funeral services will be head at 3:30 o'clock in the afternoon after which the interment will take place. ------------------------ The Marriage Record Cooper-Weidenhamer On Wednesday, January 28, at Milton, Pa., Mr. Lloyd Cooper, of this city, was united in marriage bonds with Miss Ada G. Weidenhamer. We are without further particulars at this time, but cannot forbear expressing the opinion that Mr. Cooper, with his well known good taste, has selected as his life's partner one who will be an acceptable addition our society circles, as such the lady will be warmly welcomed to our midst. Caveny-Keller At the parsonage of the Fifth Avenue Methodist Episcopal church on Tuesday evening, January 27, at 8 o'clock, Mr. William Caveny and Miss Frances Keller, both of this city, were united in marriage by Rev. R. H. Colburn. Settled. -------------------------------------------- His Thumb and Finger Crushed George Manges, a brakeman on the Pittsburg Division, was painfully injured yesterday. While making a coupling between the cars his right hand was caught and the thumb and first finger were crushed. The injuries were dressed at the hospital and he was then taken to his home at Ninth avenue and Twenty-fourth street.
