    2. Disposal of Property of Delinquent Debtors Properties at Hollidaysburg Featured by Only One Spirited Contest Sheriff Harry S. Holland this morning disposed of a number of properties of delinquent debtors at the courthouse at Hollidaysburg, the sale attracting quite a large crowd of buyers. Only one case, however, attracted any spirited bidding, this being the disposal of the interest of R. H. Colburn, administrator of Helen H. Colburn, in properties situated on Sixth avenue between Twenty-sixth and Twenty-seventh streets, Altoona. There was a large number of bidders for this property. The bidding starting off spiritedly, but later going for a long time while bidders raised a dollar at a time until Sheriff Holland finally neglected to hear any but $10 bids. It was finally knocked down to W. L. Woodcock for $6,000. Proceedings were stayed in two cases, while fifteen were held over for next week. The other properties sold were: Interest of Oscar Meyer in piece of ground on southwest side of Twenty-eighth avenue, Altoona; sold to E. L. Dively for $100. Interest of Elizabeth and Robert Welch in a piece of ground in Snyder township; sold to A. H. McCamant for $100. Interest of Charles E. Hughes in a plot of ground in Logan township, fronting on the southwestern side of Tenth street; sold to H. T. Heinsling for $?50. Interest of Olive Piper and Charles A. Piper in a plot of ground in Logan township, touching the lands of the Baker estate and of Frank Miller; sold to H. A. Davis for $1, 425. Interest of John Digirolomo in three lots of ground in the borough of Tyrone; sold to W. L. Hicks for $160. Interest of George C. Johnson in a piece of ground and buildings, in Llyswen, Logan township; sold to A. H. McCamant for $100. Interest of Mrs. Alice Mary Hart and Frank O. Hart in two plots of ground in Allegheny township; sold to J. Foster Meck. Interest of Lucy C. Dechant and C. M. Dechant in two lots in Juniata park, with a bungalow thereon; sold to Stevens & Pascoe for $75. Interest of Nora M. Eby and Alfred S. Eby in a half lot of ground and house on Seventh avenue, between Ninth and Tenth streets, Altoona; sold to W. L. Woodcock for $1,220. Interest of M. Alexander, Guarantee Trust company, Lancaster, in two half lots on Crawford avenue, between First and Second streets, Altoona; sold to Frank Vaughn for $280. Interest of M. Alexander in a half lot on Crawford avenue, between Lloyd and First streets, Altoona; sold to Frank Vaughn for $280. Interest of Everett B. Gulick in two plots of land in Snyder township; sold to P. M. Swanger for $100. Interest of Kenneth McLeod in a property on Twelfth avenue, between Thirteenth and Fourteenth streets, and in a plot of ground and dwelling at South Altoona, sold to D. E. North for $5,110. Interest of H. B. Dunn, executor of Samuel J. Koffman in a lot and a half of ground, with dwelling, in Juniata borough; sold to Mr. Koffman for $1,525. Interest of Joseph Heim, jr., in a plot in Logan township, a portion of the G. T. Bell estate, sold to Dively & Dively for $100. Interest of David Brown in a property, with dwelling house in Logan township, in the Gabriel Hamilton extension; sold to T. C. Hare for $100. Interest of Jacob S. Streighteif, in a piece of ground on Harrison avenue, Logan township, with dwelling; sold to Frank Vaughn for $100. Interest of William H. Howell in a half-lot, with dwelling house, in Juniata borough; sold to H. A. Davis for $110. Interest of F. C. Harnish in a piece of ground in Logan township, fronting on Crawford avenue; sold to H. A. Davis for $2,300. Interest of Martha A. Hamman in a half lot on Walnut avenue, between Twenty-eighth and Twenty-ninth streets, Altoona, with a dwelling house on it; sold to S. I. Stoner for $1,525. Interest of E. F. Thompson in two pieces of ground in Frankstown township; sold to M. D. Patterson for $100. Also interest of same in another property in Frankstown township; sold to J. C. Calvert for $5. ---------------------------------- Enjoyable Party Held Mr. and Mrs. Albert Stolz of 1026 Second avenue enjoyably entertained a number of friends and relatives on Wednesday evening in their home, in honor of Mr. Stolz's birthday. A fine sauer kraut supper was served. Mr. Stolz received many beautiful gifts. The color scheme was red and green. The evening was spent in cards and games. Mr. Kane and Mrs. James took first prize in card playing. Those present were: Mr. and Mrs. Henry Miller, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Cain, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Stolz, Mrs. Frank Hileman, Mrs. Annie Stroymeyer, Mrs. William James, Mrs. Thomas Hughes, Mrs. Charles Lang, Mrs. Vance Dunlap and Dennis Stolz and Misses Virgina Miller, Blanche Stolz, Mary James, Bertha Hughes, Marie Stolz and Master George Stolz.
