Is there a Beckie Chamberlin on this site? She sent me an e-mail on April 13, 2002 about her step-father Kenneth Delozier Jr who had a gggrandfather named David Ball who was married to a Magdalena Kesser born 3-4-1844 in Newry PA. I am trying to find her parents who would be my gggrandparents. I did find an obit for Valentine Kesser in 1917 that mentions a sister, Mrs Lena Ball in Clearfield PA. The Valentine Kesser obit mentions children of John, William, Owen, Joseph and Annie. It lists sisters still living in 1917 as Susan Westbrook of Cumberland MD and Lena Ball of Clearfield PA. It sounds like Lena is my gr-grandmother Magdalena Kesser from Altoona. She married David Ball, they moved to Clearfield County and one of their daughters was Ida Theresa Ball who married a Richard Joseph Barry from Wales and they settled in Altoona. In other words, who were the parents of Valentine, Susan and Magdalena? Claire
