In need of the death notice of Daniel Emerson Kauffman - 11 Feb.1920. Daniel Emerson KAUFFMAN was married to my direct relative Sarah (Sadie) GLANT (20 Dec.1851 - 28 Nov 1936). Daniel was born 1853 in PA, parents Jesse Kauffman & Sarah unknown. He died 11 Feb. 1920 in Altoona, PA. Buried in Rose Hill Cem. One son - James Percy Kauffman (13 May 1873 - 8 Dec. 1931). The death notice of Sarah briefs family info.: Altoona Tribune......Mrs. Sarah (Glant) Kauffman who resided for many years at 704 Ninth Street, died at 8 o'clock this morning at a local hospital after a long illness incident to her advanced years. Her husand D. Emerson Kauffman died a number of years ago and her only son,J. Percy Kauffman, former alderman of Second ward, died on Dec. 8, 1931. Mrs. Kauffman had resided in Altoona for many years, coming here from McVeytown. She was a member of the First United Brethren Church. The body wasremoved to the Gilden Funeral Home. Funeral Notices Funeral services for Mrs. Sarah Kauffman will be held at the Gilden Funeral Home at 7:30 o'clock tomorrow afternoon.
