Maxine, In so far as I know, the book is out of print. However, I do have a copy of it and can do some look-ups if you want. The Clappers in America was researched and compiled by Marie Leighty Engel with Gerald H. Helsel as Contributing Assistant. It contains 566 pages (including the index) and was published in 1980. The addresses listed in the book are: Marie Leighty Engel; Route 2 Waller Road, Salisbuty, MD. 21801 and Gerald H. Helsel; 419 Poplar Street, Roaring Spring, PA 16673. I'm not sure either are still alive. There is no listing for Gerald Helsel in the local phone directories.
