    3. Unless you want to stay in Altoona, the only hotel in the area is the Comfort Inn off Plank Road in Duncansville.     3. Abby, Staying in Altoona is no big deal. Not counting possible road construction, you are only 15 minutes from the BCGS building. There are several national chains on the southwestern side of Altoona. Which means you don't even come near downtown.
