    1. Re: PABlair Problem with new computer - no floppy drive
    2. Hi Annie After my MAC computer breathed it's last, and my husband insisted that I switch to a PC and Windows. To my dismay it didn't have a floppy drive, and I had tons of stuff on floppies. The problem was solved by going to Fry's Electronics store and purchasing an external floppy drive. Most are priced under Forty Dollars and simply plug into my USB port. Problem solved. I have decided to get an older computer for the floppies. I have thousands of obits on the floppies, and boxes of obits waiting to be scanned, I am not going to let the obits go away. ************************************** Get a sneak peek of the all-new AOL at http://discover.aol.com/memed/aolcom30tour
