I am trying to find out which Harnish family Daniel Harnish belongs to. He was born in 1820 [we don't know where] and he lived and died in Huntingdon county. He first married Susann Shultz and later her sister Sarah. They lived in Lincoln Twp. And they are all buried in the Reformed church cemetary in Marklesburg, Huntingdon county. I know there were Harnishes that settled in the Lancaster, York area. They were Samuel, and Martin and I have heard there was also a Jacob who was beleived to be a brother as well. Samuels sons Christian and Tobias and maybe Peter migrated to Huntingdon county. They lived in Morris twp. and I beleive I have heard that some of them lived in Canoe Valley and some are buried in Sinking Valley. i am trying to find out where Daniel comes from and who his parents are. An obituary I have of Daniels second wife states she was of the Lutheran faith. Any help you can give me will be greatly appreciated. Sue
