Marriage Record McDowell-Stouffer The rectory of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic church was the scene of a delightful wedding last evening at 8 o'clock when Earl McDowell of Pottsgrove avenue, East End, and Miss Clara Edna Stouffer of 909 Second avenue were united in marriage by Rev. Father Jerome Zazzara. Charles McDowell and Miss Catharine Stouffer, brother and sister of the bridegroom and bride, respectively, were the attendants. After the ceremony they returned to the home of the bride, where a bounteous supper was served, at which the immediate friends of the couple were present. After spending a quiet evening at the home of the bride, the happy couple departed for the home of the bridegroom's parents, where they will be at home to a host of friends, whose best wishes to with them in their new life. The couple received many handsome and useful present. Skelly-Isenberg Mr. Charles Skelly, head compositor in the Altoona Mirror job department, and Miss Edna Isenberg, the accomplished daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. P. Isenberg of 2200 Fourth avenue, were united in marriage last night at 8:30 o'clock by Rev. Vaughn T. Rue, pastor of the Simpson Methodist church. The beautiful ring ceremony was used. The house was tastefully decorated for the happy occasion and over fifty guests were present to facilitate the bride and groom. The young couple were attended by John H. Wood and Miss Edna Kelly. After the wedding ceremony a delicious supper was served to the guests. Mr. and Mrs. Skelly left on a midnight train for Washington, Baltimore and other southern cities. On their return they will be at home to their many friends at 2200 Fourth avenue, the home of the bride. Edwards-Snyder Mr. H. G. Edwards and Miss Anna M. Snyder, both of this city, were united in marriage at 8 o'clock last evening, at the parsonage of Christ Reformed church, by Rev. O. S. Frantz. Following there was a reception at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Snyder, of 1107 Eighteenth street, after which the newly weds will depart on a wedding tour. The bridegroom is employed as engine inspector at the East Altoona engine house, and resides at 1109 Eighteenth street. After their honeymoon, they will be at home to their friends at 100 Eleventh avenue, Juniata. Marriage Licenses Issued To Harry Edwards, 1109 Eighteenth street, and Anna M. To James Sylvester Robeson and Hattie May Miller, both of Williamsburg. ----------------------- LAUGHS AT SHOW; THEN BABE IS BORN Mrs. Gill, who resides just back of the Orpheum theater, attended a performance on Tuesday and when Harry Breen, a comedian, exuded some of his funny jokes, she laughed until the tears streamed down her face. An hour later she was the mother of a fine plump baby girl. Manager Denman is considering the propriety of purchasing the kiddie its first dress.
