    1. [PABLAIR-L] Huntingdon Gazette, 1807
    2. Married-On Tuesday last, by the Rev. David Bard, Mr. James Stewart, of Sinking Valley to Miss Rebecca Morrow. Died- In Canoe Valley, on the 13th instant, Mary Hull, daughter of Mrs. Hull, of the malignant fever, prevailing in that place. By accounts from Frankstown, we are informed, that on Thursday the 7th inst., a fire broke out in the woods near to Hollidaysburg, which communicated to the Presbyterian Church, and nothing could be saved from that venerable pile, except a table, before it was entirely consumed. It is to be hoped, however, from the public spirit of the Congregation, that a new one will soon be erected on a more modern plan than the former. ------------------------------ FOUND On the road leading from Huntingdon to Petersburg, some time since, a POCKET-BOOK containing a number of papers of importance to the owner. It can be got by applying to the Printer, and paying for this notice. -------------- 50 DOLLARS REWARD Ran Away from the subscriber, living in Rapho township, Lancaster county, on the 5th of March last, a Mulatto lad, named Joe Shirkey, about 20 years of age, about 6 feet high, a stout well made fellow with a good countenance. Had on when he went away, a brown roundabout, a pair of buckskin trowsers, good shoes and stockings and an old castor hat. It is probable he may have changed his clothing. Whoever takes up and secures said run-away in any Jail, so that I can get him again, shall have the above reward and reasonable charges. JOHN HAYS May 13, 1807 ---------------------------- KIMBER A. BARTON Respectfully solicits the enrolled citizens of the 2d Brigade, 10th division, of Pennsylvania Militia, for their votes and interest, for the office of BRIGADE-INSPECTOR at the approaching election. ELIZABETH PALMER, Administratrix May 25, 1807 ---------------- The following is a copy of a genuine direction, upon a letter not long since sent from Lancaster county, to a person in Philadelphia, in order to be forwarded by the first vessel for Ireland. "To Dennis M'Farrow in the county of Tipperara in the kingdom of Ireland and if he should not be there deliver it to Bridget Dougherty his first cousin and if she should be dead deliver it to Brady M'Con perhaps he may be hung for he was a little light fingered, and if that should be the case deliver it to his great Uncle Allen M'Cafferty however he talk'd some time ago of going over to England to collect some monies due his Aunt Lizzy and if that should be the case then please deliver it to Mr. Farron Walnut who lives at the sign of the green tree." --------------------------------- Annie Whiteman PABlair Rootsweb List Administrator Annie Whiteman/Steve Patz Blair County Coordinators http://www.rootsweb.com/~pablair
