I just received the death certificate of my ggrandfather, James R. WEAVER. His address was given as 835 E. 6th Ave., Logan Twp., (Altoona was given as the city, but crossed out). He died in Jan. 1931, but I haven't been able to find him in the 1930 census using the Ancestry.com census index. I then used Ancestry and tried to search the people who lived on E. 6th Ave. I used Blair Co., Altoona, District 6 on image 23 and found 6th Ave, but the highest house number was 831. This was listed as 6th Ave., but on his death certificate, it was listed as E. 6th Ave. Could someone tell me if I need to try to find an E. 6th Ave. rather than 6th Ave.?
