Hoyer and Miss Julia McKee were united in marriage by the Rev. T. P. Smith at the rectory of the Sacred Heart church of this city. They were attended by Mr. J. M. Campbell as best man and Miss Marie Hoyer, a sister of the bridegroom as bridesmaid. Mr. Hoyer is employed as a passenger brakeman on the Pittsburgh division, while the bride until recently was employed as head milliner in McKeesport's leading millinery store. After a few days spent in this city they will reside in Wilmerding. McCormick-Gailey A very pretty wedding was celebrated at noon yesterday at the parsonage of the Third Presbyterian church when Mr. David R. McCormick and Miss Anna M. Gailey became man and wife. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. James E. Irvine, Ph. D., many years the bride's pastor. The bride, who is a daughter of Mr. James Gailey of Williamsburg, has always been held in the highest esteem in her community. The groom, whose home has been at Beaver Falls, has accepted a responsible position at Stubensville, O., where the newlyweds will reside. Sargent-Burr Blair county relatives and friends today received announcements of the marriage of Mr. George Lloyd Sargent and Miss Marjorie Burr, which was solemnized in New York on Tuesday. Mr. Sargent is the son of Mrs. Annie Sargent of Philadelphia, a native of Hollidaysburg. The late George B. Bowers, city solicitor of Altoona for several terms, was his uncle. The bride is a daughter of Mrs. Charles Henry Burr, of New York and has been an instructor in Columbia university. They will reside in New York. Rea-Snyder Licensed at Cumberland A marriage license was issued yesterday in Cumberland, Md., to Miss Della Esther Miller of Manns Choice and Joseph Edgar Shoenfelt of this city.
