I was wondering if anyone is researching the family of John H. McConnell, b. abt. 1856. He married Lydia, b. abt. 1861. Their children that I know of include: Simon T. (abt. 1883), Joseph L. (abt. 1893), Robert A. (abt. 1899), Mary Cecelia (abt. 1900). I suspect there is at least another daughter, probably in the gap between Simon and Joseph, who married a DeCarlo. In particular, I am trying to trace the family of Joseph L. McConnell. He married Esther Viola Watson abt. 1915. Their children included: Adelaide, Henry/Harry, Levinia, Eleanor, Wayne, Gladys (who died as an infant), and Paul. I also know of Dolly and Guy; however, these could be nicknames. Some of the children are still alive, and living in the Altoona area. I am related through Esther Watson, and am looking for any information, and/or to touch base with some of my relatives.
