    3. That's funny, Annie, because that's exactly what I was thinking about Ellis. Ellis carries a whole kit - a mirror, a yardstick, and who knows what other equipment - when he photographs tombstones. Sam (June), Abby, Diann, Nance, Sally and I more or less point and click, and hope for the best. Well, yes, I'm exaggerating, because we actually make more of an effort than that, but nothing to compare with Ellis' work. The only person I know who carries about as much equipment into a cemetery as Ellis does is Kat McGuire. I like to talk Leora Rabuck into going along with me, because she holds the shrubs and flowers back away from the fronts of the tombstones. <g> Not as good as a scanner for a weathered stone, but when the plantings have grown up around a tombstone, an extra set of hands always helps. Those of you who haven't already seen Ellis' tombstone carvers' of PA pages really should click and take a look - http://www.rootsweb.com/~usgenweb/pa/1pa/tscarvers/tombstone-carvers.htm Judy ----- Original Message ----- From: <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]>; <[email protected]> Sent: Monday, October 08, 2007 5:34 PM Subject: Re: PABlair Reading Eroded Tombstone markers Oh Ellis, I can just see you and Judy trying to figure out how to get one of these scanners. ; ) On Mon, 8 Oct 2007 10:50:55 -0400 "Ellis Michaels" <[email protected]> wrote: >This could be REVOLUTIONARY if it is as good as it claims.
