HUNGRY LAD FAINTS Boy Collapses at Headquarters of Salvation Army--Starving Families Aided A 6-year old boy collapsed at the Salvation Army headquarters yesterday afternoon, after walking to this city from Lakemont, with his widowed mother. Want of food was the cause. the lad's mother had been ill for several days and had no funds to come to this city to get work, so, with her son, she started to the city on foot. Both mother and son were given food at the relief office and fare furnished to their home. Thursday the relief workers of the army found an Italian family on the East side starving. Food and fuel were furnished and the husband and father given temporary employment. A widow, who resides on Second avenue, was found badly in need of aid on Thursday. There was little fuel in the home and nothing to eat. Her young son was crying for food. Aid was given by the relief investigators. The car of coal donated to the Army some time ago is now exhausted and many demands are being made for fuel. -------------------------------- JUNIATA GAP The following persons were Sunday visitors at the home of Captain T.
