DYSART Hollidaysburg, Jan. 15, 1842 --------------------------------- DIED--On Wednesday evening the 19th inst., at the residence of his father, in this Borough, of the Small Pox, SAMUEL ALEXANDER McDONOUGH, son of Mr. George McDonough, aged 18 years and one day. The deceased was a young man, just entering into the bloom of life, of sober and industrious habits and during a very protracted illness, the hope of a large circle of friends was-recovery; but the destroyer had seized his victim, and eventually bore him off, to a better and happier sphere, where "the wicked cease from troubling and the weary are at rest." His death is severely felt by all who knew him, and a distressing visitation to his parents and brothers and sisters. His senses were retained in their full vigor and exercised to the last. --------------------------------- INFORMATION WANTED Information is wanted of Miss Matilda Brooks, who was born and raised in Lancaster county, and is now about 30 years of age.
