    1. [PABLAIR-L] Roll Call
    2. Thank God, listers, family and friends, I have learned much in 2002 about lines I have been researching. Unless there is something new or unusual in the HAUPT, HARTZELL, FEGLES, or TRENT lines, I need little help there. BUT, the POTTER line still has many holes and brick walls in it. Jacob MYERS/MEYERS/MEIERS married Elizabeth STEVENS/STEPHENS around 1810 before or after. Their daughter Mary Ann married Robert Potter, my g-g-grandfather. Elizabeth was the daughter of Giles Stevens/Stephens, an American Revolutionary War sargeant. He and his family are well documented but Elizabeth is lost after her marriage. There are many references to Jacob Myers in Blair County records but I have not been able to positively link any to the Stevens/Stephens family. Giles Stevens/Stephens married Nancy TIPTON. Her family has been traced quite far back but I would like to know more about the family when they lived in Blair County. The HAMMEL family is lost to me beyond Martin Hammel who lived in Petersburg and Altoona in the late 1800s. His wife was Sarah WELDON. His daughter-in-law, Dora McKEE. James THOMPSON b.1860, d.1926 was my maternal g-grandfather. I know little about his family behind him. He was born in Bellwood, lived in Altoona but I hear some siblings lived in Cresson or Gallitzin. Many Thanks to Annie for her great untiring work on the Blair County list.
