    3. To all, I'm sorry I haven't posted a message to the list before now, but I was not subscribed to the list. After I had moved to the Eastern part of the state I had to switch emails and I guess the subscription to the list was lost in the shuffle. I was saddened to hear that Annie had passed away. When Blair County had come up for adoption, wow, I can't even remember how long ago, I emailed Nate ( who was State Coordinator at the time ) and volunteered. Annie had volunteered a few minutes before I had. Annie was gracious enough to share the county with me. We met a few months later at a BCGS monthly meeting and we became fast friends. My background was more geared towards HTML and technical items with the site. Annie, as many of you know handled info requests expertly. She was always quite helpful when I was at the BCGS looking for info, and she was the librarian. Genealogy and the world have lost a very special, warm, and friendly person. I intend to stay on as maintainer. I also would like to make some sort of memorial for Annie. If it is on the Blair site, or on a server ( I have space and bandwidth galore ), it doesn't matter to me. I haven't updated the site yet. Partly because I don't know what to say or do, and partly because I've been busy at work and with the holidays coming up. I am open to ideas, suggestions, help. Annie's passing has truly left a void. ( I'm going to be in Blair County from Sunday until New Year's Eve, so my connectivity to the Internet may be sporadic, and thus I might not answer email right away. )
