We have records from Centre Cnty Philipsburg, and never has a marriage certificate been found - Rosa [Rosie] tried to claim his CW Pension - She got nothing, but his 2nd wife did. [Widowed w/2 sons 1st marriage- then daughter Jennie by 2nd wife] He apparently 'took up with Rosie about 1865, then to P'burg ca 1866 leaving behind in Barton, Owego Cnty a wife and three children. [He was very sick after the civil war and she may have been 'his personal nurse' claiming to be his wife - ] Have found an earlier census where she was in Friendsville [Susquehanna] PA b/4 CW and she abt 20 yrs younger than Dr. JHP - They had one child [son] who died as an infant and this child buried in P'burg. Trying to confirm if she in Blair Cnty after he died 1892 - There is some 'family talk' she immediately took up w/some guy and moved to Altoona - leaving behind a huge legal mess in P'burg. She had a brother HARLEY around Syracuse, NY who was in and out of Centre Cnty also Will check the census that showed on Altoona and just remembered to also look for her back in Susq Cnty - Typing this reminded me to check there [Susq] also Any and all clues are greatly appreciated.
