Altoona Mirror 07/06/1974 ROBERT J. HUPERT Of 1717 21st Ave., died unexpectedly at 8:20 p.m. yesterday, July 5, 1974, at Mercy Hospital, where he was admitted Monday. Mr. Hupert retired as a welder from the Penn Central Railroad in 1969 after 28 years service. He was born Sept. 23, 1914, in Altoona, a son of John and Mary Theresa (LaCour) Hupert. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Marjorie Berton of Stockton, Calif.; two grand-children, and four brothers and sisters. John, Patrick D. and Mrs. Betty Palvosky of Altoona, and Daniel of Patton. Mr. Hupert was a member of the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament. Friends will be received in the Jones Funeral Home from 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow. HUPERT - The funeral of Robert J. Hupert of 1717 21st Ave. will be held with a mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. Monday in the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament. Interment in Calvary Cemetery. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 Sunday in the Jones Funeral Homne, where a wake service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Sunday.
