You did not give there birth dates or death dates. It also depends on where (urban /rural/ very rural) they lived, and I know it is not politically correct but their financial status. I was able to get a picture of my great grandparent because I found someone with a picture of a reunion which they attended. By scanning at a high resolution I was able to get a good picture of them.
