I don't know if this will help, but if you are willing to be a little loose with the spelling, in 1850 there is a Lovinia Shell (30 yrs) and a Mary Ann Shell.(12yrs) in Lower Heidelberg Twp. I believe this family lives a couple of mile north of the St Johns Hain's church. I have no proof but believe her husband is working at a near by farm These people are living with my 2nd great grandparents Joshua and Mary Barlet. (Joseph and Maria ) In the 1850 they appear by a variant of the name, Ballad. I believe Lovinia is their daughter. If you think this fits, I have information for about 7 generation, or from 1747 through today. They are in dwelling 127 family 137.
