Johann (John) Adam Musser (1746-1823) was a tanner and later operated the Cross Keys Hotel (about 1812) and also a leather goods shop. He and his wife Christina (1752-1823) had 8 children but no Sarah. The sons were Col. William Musser (1790-1847), George Musser (1774-1852), John Musser (b. 1787). George had children named William and Susan; John had a daughter named Elizabeth. It is possible that William, son of George, is the father of Sarah Musser. The following family members are buried in Salem Lutheran Cemetery, Reamstown: John Adam, Christina, Elizabeth (d. 1833), George, Elizabeth (d. 1838, and William.
