Upon researching this on site at the Trinity Lutheran church in Reading, 4 out of 6 were listed in their records as being buried in their cemetery, but 2 were not. Upon going out to their cemetery up on the hill at the end of 12th street, the plot where they were supposed to be buried according to the church records and maps was empty with no stones. So, this is where I'm stumped... Could they have been moved? If so, where? Was there more than one cemetery that would have been called "Lutheran cemetery" at that time? If so, where else would I look? Since one of the burials happened as late as 1923, you would figure that at least that headstone would have survived, right? There were two other cemeteries (one on each side) at the same location, but I don't have any information on those...can anyone shed some light on them? Thanks for any help and guidance, much appreciated. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
