The Google search of the newspapers has never been any good. partly because the newspaper were converted to text with OCR The best way to get information from the Google newspapers is to enter the newspaper at a date close to the event and they moving forward or back until you find the information you are looking for. It is a shame that Google has abandon these newspapers.
