He was from Berks Co. PA. His son was Isaac Brown who married a Catherine Burns from Pittsburg. They settled in Ashland OH. My great-great grandmother was their daughter. Her daughter left a handwritten note about Isaac serving with Conrad Barney in the War of 1812. I have visited his grave in Ashland and it has a marker for the War with Mexico on it.
