    3. To my knowledge there is no relationships between the Barlet (Barlett, Barlot, Berlet, several other variations) and the Grant family. Also to my knowledge the Barolette family is a distinct family and not part of the Barlet family. There are many lines of the Barlet family in Berks county, most all decendants of Paul b:1714, Conrad and Hans Wolf Barlet. Hans arrived in America Sep 1732 and most of his family had moved to New York by 1800. Paul and Conrad came to America Sept. 1750. Conrad's family were living in Clarion Co Pa by 1800. Paul's family stayed in Berks county and as you can see from this thread many lived there until the 1900's. If you are a subscribe to Ancestry there is a lot of hits on the Grant family for both of John and Bartlet Grant . If you are not, you should go to FamilySearch.org, and search there. Like Ancestry there are many hits on the Grant Family. If you have some ideas on death events in the Grant family you may find some information in the Un indexed records on FamilySearch. There is one final free source of records in Berks county. That is Berks Deeds at https://counties2.recordfusion.com/countyweb/login.do?countyname=Berks For some records on FamilySearch and all records on Berks Deed you will have to complete a free registration. You may also find some leads in the online forum for the Grant family or in the Berks county forums. Finally there is a good free source of information on people from Berks county http://berks.pa-roots.com/ Guns get blamed in shootings because the liberals say teaching the Ten Commandments with "Thou shall not kill" violate the separation of Church and State.
