This is not a pop in and get your information project. There are over 100 pages of records. Part of the reason it is so long is that while Daniel Barlet Jr b:1811 d:1896 is his blood son, legally Daniel Sr died with out a legal heir. Because of marriage arrangement complication, his mother Rosina Seilers who became Daniel Sr wife, released Daniel Sr from all legal responsibility for his son Daniel Jr shortly after Daniel Jr birth. When Daniel Sr died, his brother Joseph (Joshua)Barlet in the name of all of the siblings of Daniel Sr filed a claim against his estate. While there apparently were some strong discussion at that time the good thing for us is that the documents in the file list all of the children of Sebastian Barlet their wives and where they were living at the time of the settlement. It also list the children of Sebastian children One of the pieces of information (I am still working on the 100 pages) is that Sebastian daughter Susan Barlet lived in Ohio with her husband John Miller. John Miller and Susan Barlet are buried in the Stephenson Family-Sugar Grove-Sugar Ridge cemetery about 0.7 miles from the Ohio Line. There is also information on my ancestor Joseph (Joshua) Barlet. Contact me if you would like further information about this document, Joseph (Joshua)Barlet, and the Daniel Barlet Sr. Keith_Nuttle sbcglobal.net Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. Hi Keith and List: Trying to get information on my ggrandfather Bartlet or Bartolette Grant. He was born 5/1817 to John Grant/Graend and wife Maria in Berks Co. Pa. Do you have any Grant/Graends in your line. I am 64 years old and have been trying to get information on My Grant family for a long time. I cannot find information on John and Maria Grant, Maria's maiden name, The parents and grandparents of John Grant. When did they come from, why was my gggrandfather named Bartolet Grant. Rumor has it he was raised by Bartlets so that further makes me think there is a connection with the families. Other names in my line are: Drumhellers, Erby. Fry, Fuchs, Geiger, Haag, Knab, Knause, Krebs, Leib, Miller/ Mock. Rodermel. Stapleton, Would love to know if there are any Grants in your Bartlet line. Thanks so much Sally Scott in Newton, NJ scott1@embarqmail.com -----Original Message----- From: gc-gateway@rootsweb.com Sent: Wednesday, December 26, 2012 2:43 PM To: PABERKS-L@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [PABERKS] Barlet, Quillman, Schmehl This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list.
