I completed my research about Herdorf immigrants to Allentown, Pennsylvania. I found 205 immigrants. The surnames are: Alof, Becker, Bingener, Boehmer, Brühl, Büsgen, Düber, Eisbach, Ermert, Farnschläder, Frensch, Gerhardus, Gross, Heidrich, Hellinghausen, Helmert, Heukäufer, Höfer, Holschbach, Huhn, Imhäuser, Irlich, Jacobs, Jung, Kipping, Klein, Koehler, Koetting, Krah, Latsch, Maerzhaeuser, Mertens, Mochenhaupt, Mühleib, Muhl, Nauroth, Quast, Reifenrath, Schermoly, Schlosser, Schmidt, Schönfelder, Schütz, Seifert, Seifner, Stinner, Stricker, Stün, Utsch, Vogel, Wickel, Wisser, and Zöller. For each immigrant, I constructed a family tree of ancestors, uncles, aunts and siblings. The data in these trees is based on Church Book records and Familenbuchen. Some trees originate in the 1600’s. The information is on my new website www.herdorf2allentown.info. If anyone has an ancestor with one of the surnames noted above, or suspects that their ancestor was born in Herdorf area, I am happy to share the information that I have.
