    3. While a slight shift in subject, I saw several things in your message that caught my eye. My 3rd great grandmother Maria (Mary) Schaver (Schäffer) She was born in 1795 and was married to Joshua (Joseph) Barlet on Jun 08, 1817 at Christ Lutheran Church, Stouchsburg, Berks County, Pennsylvania. Joshua Barlet b: Feb 03, 1795 d: Nov 21, 1869 and his wife are found in the 1830 and 1840 in Heidelberg Twp and in the 1850 and 1860 census in Lower Heidelberg Twp. They had 2 children that I have identified Johnathan Barlett b:1824 and Ephraim b:1826. There are three other suspected children; William Samuel and Levenia. Joshua and Mary moved to what is now Mulberry Street in Reading by 1869 and by 1870 they were living in the Rickstown area of Reading where Joshua died. He is buried at the St John Hain Church. There are several events for the family in the church records. Maria is found in the 1870 census in the 6th Ward Reading, but her death date is unknown. She was alive in 1873 living in Rickstown when her son Ephraim died. By chance Is this family in your database? I have been working on this family for 10 years. I first learned from the census that Ephraim Barlet was my 2nd great grandfather and at first thought at first his parents were Daniel and Eva Barlet. I then found Ephraim obituary which gave me Joseph and Mary Barlet as his parents. It took me some years to associate Joseph Barlet with Joshua Barlet the son of Sebastian Barlet. Guns get blamed in shootings because the liberals say teaching the Ten Commandments with "Thou shall not kill" violate the separation of Church and State.
