My ancestors were from Berks, Montgomery and Chester co. I have accumulated many reference books and CDs for those areas as well as Montgomery Co! Plus some fellow genealogists and researchers have sent me more info., and I am ever grateful to them. Here is immigration info found in '18th Century Emigrants Vol. I The Northern Kraichgau' by Annette Kunselman Burgert Kilian Kühnlein from 6921 Ehrstädt Prelist (circa 1717 with Daniel Schoener, also from Ehrstadt) Ehrstädt Lutheran KB: Georg Bernhart Kühnlein and wife Anna Eva had: Kilianus born 7 July 1695; bpt. 8 July 1695 In the marriage record dated January 1717 just the name Kilian Kühnle is mentioned; nothing further is recorded. In the history of the Lutheran Church in New Hanover, Montgomery County, Pa., (Pennsylvania German Society XX (1909): 32-33) there is a statement concerning the church property acquired by the congregation in 1719. Kilian "Kalie" was among those who attested that John Henry Sprogel "did in the year of our Lord One thousand seven hundred and nineteen freely and voluntarily give and grant the above described piece of land with the appurtenances in the presence of Us and many others then living for the proper use and behoof of a Lutheran Congregation forever." Some marriages of Killian's children at Moselem Lutheran: Married 14 p. Trin. 1745 Joh. Georg Kuehnlin, single son of Kilian Kuehnlin, and Philippina Schoener, single daughter of Daniel Schoener (also in book). Married 29 September 1747 Jacob Petri, master shoemaker, single son of Nicholai Petri in Germany, and Anna Eva Kuehnlin, single daughter of 'Kilian Kiehnlin'. Baptisms: Adam Kuhnlin and wife Maria Elisabetha Michlin had: 1. Anna Eva born 21 July 1754; bp 8/4/1754, spons: Jacob Petri and wife Ana Eva. 2. Martin born 23 Nov. 1755; bp 12/18/1755, spons: Martin Epple and wife Ana Maria Majerin. I don't see their marriage. Diana in AL PS - Let me know if or when you go to Reading!
