This is recorded in the Records of Trinity Tulpehocken Reformed Congregation, Jackson Township, Lebanon County, Pennsylvania, Marriages 1769-1864 Marriage prefomred by Rev. Hendel. She and Ephraim appear in the 1850 (Cumru Twp) and 1860 (Reading) census and have two children, Henry Franklin Barlett and Priscillia Elizabeth Barlett. Prisillia died in Dec 11, 1860 and is buried in the St John's Hain's Church Cemetery. Susanna and son Henry disappear and in 1870 Ephraim is married to Catharine, with two sons 1 and 4 years old. The Maternus family appears to have a long history with the St John's Hain's Church as the following deaths are recorded in its history Jan. 13, 1841 Susannah Maternus 58.8.23 Mar. 11, 1839 Adam Maternus 2.9.17 May 12, 1849 Magdalene Matternus 34.3.10 May 25, 1859 Ann Elizabeth Matternes 79.6.5 Sept. 21, 1850 Henry Matternus 71.10.3 Jan. 13, 1851 John Henry Matternus 2.5.0 Susan Maternus appears in the church history in the confirmation class and a couple of other entries. There are several other records for the Matternus family from the area of St John Hain Church Can any one help me find the date Susanna Anna Marteines/Marteires/Maternus died or any thing else about the Marteines/Marteires/Maternus family. I have found conflicting information as to whether she died and there is a chance she and Ephraim separated between 1860 and 1865.
