I'm assuming anyone would have to sign up and be a member of Facebook to join the group. That's too bad, I don't do FB, did briefly but got hacked, so I gave it up. Ancestry stepped in and saved Rootsweb some time ago, or it would have gone belly up back then. I guess we should be grateful that they extended the life of Rootsweb as long as they did, but I always felt their promise of "forever" was not going to last. I thank all the folks who volunteered to manage the sites and sure wish Rootsweb could go on. Betty
