Jacob of Tulpehocken, who married Catharine MILLER, was the son of Johan Adam WEGERLIN/WEGERLE//WEIGLEY (up to 37 spellings of this surname) and Hannah Eva WALTER. Adam is my ancestor. Samuel (listed in the message under War of 1812) is also Adam's son and my ancestor. The WEIGEL family is a close spelling but, during years of research and examining every entry of WEIGEL, I have not made a connection to my family.
