    1. [PABERKS] parents of Daniel STOUDT and Harriet FELTHOFF of Maxatawny
    2. Diana Quinones
    3. Pat......In 1850 Census in Maxatawny, Berks Co it appears they are already or just married and living with her parents: John Felthoff 52 lime burner Sarah Felthoff 48 Henry Felthoff 20 lime burner Louisa Felthoff 15 attended school w/i the year Lesetta Felthoff 7 Daniel Stoudt 20 laborer married within the year Harriett Stoudt 17 married within the year You might want to look at the 1840 Census, to see if any of his surname live in the area with a male child c10. I have seen the name STAUD/STAUDT as well as STOUT/STOUDT. In fact, there was a Daniel STAUDT who died 4/1/1820 in Reading, and was the schoolmaster and organist for Trinity Lutheran church in Reading for 34 years. He had several boys, but only 2 who may have lived to maturity and had a family. I don't know if any located to the Maxatawny area or not. Good luck...hope someone else will read this and can find your Daniel. Diana in AL ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- patz05@verizon.net wrote on Sat, 14 Jun 2008 I have a Harriet Felthoff born about 1835 in Maxatawny, Berks County, Pa who married a Daniel Stoudt/Stout who was born about 1830 in Maxatawny. Their daughter Sarah Hannah or Hannah Sarah was born in February 1861 in Indiana. Hannah married a Palm and died September 15, 1915 in Circleville, Ohio. Who were the parents of Harriet Felthoff and Daniel Stoudt? There were Stoudt/Stouts in Caroll County, Indiana. Would that be the same line? Any help would be appreciated Pat

    3. Just a note on the Stout//Staudt etc surname. George and Jonathan Stout came from PA to what became Stoutsville Ohio, which is just down the road from Circleville. The Stout line is mixed up with my Crist/Christ lines several times. Most either came to Ohio, or their families did. Harold Stout did two books, one supposedly English Stout and one supposedly German Staudt, However, I have found that there is a good bit of each in both books. I only own the 2d one, but have seen the English one. For what its worth.
