Copyright discussions are off topic here, but your question is a good one. :-) Basically, facts and data are not copyright protected. Original thought is. Nobody can own facts. If you find when a relative was born, died, married, etc., its considered public information. Just make sure you cite in your files where you found it. Hope this helps! Rick B
