. The reason that Isaac DeTurk came to Oley is the fact that his wife, the wife of Johannes Keim, and the wife of Jean Bertolet were all sisters, being the daughters of Jean De Haricourt.? So I now have parents for Katarina DeTurk, but I would love to find if there is a connection between Katarina and Isaac. Logic says there should be - but chance is always operative as well. However Isaac DeTurk must have had a reason to come specifically to the Oley Valley and it must have involved Huguenots that he was acquainted with. The Keims would be one such family. Possibly Katarina even was in the area first. I suspect that any answers may lie in the archives in Europe somewhere.
