I was told by a lady in Lycoming co PA, that her ancestors were KAUP but changed to KOLP at some point. Phonetically that doesn't seem right, but I suppose its possible. I found one KAUP in Ohio at a later date but they came from Europe directly to Ohio. I am interested in Christian KAUP and his sons. They were in Berks/Schuylkill co. Has anyone else found this name and/or its derivations? Thanks for any info. Margaret Crist Calvin, SE Ohio
