There are tax records for him back to the mid 1770's. There are records of him @ Salem Belleman's Church and his oldest son, Jacob, is buried in the old cemetery behind the old stone church (which replaced the log church). I am in search of ANY information on the Runkle family. William left Berks County, went west to Lebanon County and then later generations ended up in Dauphin County.
