I don't have anything else on Jacob. I used the Royer book to find my ancestors, but then when I started to do some serious work, I discovered errors in my line. (The book was wrong.) If Jacob was married to a Catherine, most likely it was another Jacob in your line. Barrett could maybe also be Bartlet, who were hanging around Berks Co. also. Do you have a listing of Jacob's children? I know in the 1850 Census Jacob is living with a wife Catharine born 1781 in PA and a Elizabeth Walborn born in 1802 in PA.
