Other kids apparently died young. First Generation 1. Hartman LEITHAUSER was born in 1753 in Germany. He died on 11 Feb 1829 in Hamburg, PA. He was buried in St. John's Cemeteries, Hamburg, PA. He was a veteran of the Revolutionary War. Served Continental Army, PA line till 1802. Applied 28 April 1818 in Berks County, at age 64, for a soldiers pension. Received pension of $78 per annum. Widow applied for her pension 1 Oct 1838, age 71. In 1820 soldier referred to his daughter, age 9. Soldier and widow had 2 children and both were living in 1838 but only the youngest daughter Frederica age about 27 was named in the claim, the widow and children of soldier's brother, George Leitheizer were mentioned in 1841. Widow applied for blw on 31 march 1855?? Brother George Leitheiser served Continental Army PA Line. He married Catharine Rummel on 12 June 1788 at Lancaster County. Hartman LEITHAUSER and Anna Maria UNKnown were married about 1781. Anna Maria was born on 27 Aug 1760. She died on 29 Aug 1788 in Reading, PA.
