With my ancestor I requested the record of the "Warrantee" from 1753. I noticed on the right side of index the "Patentee" was not the same name so I assumed he sold it or didnt finalize so I went to the Patentee index and found the second name with book and page number and requested a copy of that also. If your name is the same (in other words your ancestor finalized the deal) you could ask for a copy of that also. Both copies only cost me $15. Send in your request and they will send you a letter telling you what money you owe. Good luck Karen
