    3. I think it a good idea also to keep in touch, you never know what might come up. In my husbands line his cousin had two professionals plus herself and her mother, both of them school teachers working on their DICKENS line. She even said "a generation missing here" when writting a family history. My husband insisted they were doing a good job but I just kept quiet except to say the problem may be a spelling change. Cousin was working on 2 counties using DICKENS, I found the marriage certificate in one of the counties with DICKINS, Later I found the family in a third county on the 1850 census with their known great grandfather and a great uncle the cousin knew about from her father and the name was spelled DYKANS. I also found the Fluke name spelled 3 different ways in the same persons will. Thanks for your info on this line . Now, someone clumps that with the Sailor/Seyler's. And they may be right. I haven't worked on this line long enough or deep enough to know. However, I have seen that some are called Germans and some from Switzerland. Not sure of the significance. I have collected some Seiler/Seyler also SEHLER info but none of it connects. The George Christ who went to Northumberland co PA (circumstancial that George is from my line, as other family members were there), has a different wife in the census. One descendant, who also thinks its the right George, thinks Catharine died. So far I haven't turned up anything in Schuylkill co about her death. Christ is difficult there because of a doctor Jacob Christ. I'm not convinced they are unrelated, but have no proof. While visiting there, I went to Hetzel cemetery, and over to the university library. I met a gal who married a SEILER. And she lived by the Brown cemetery (connected to my Christ/Crist). All she knew about the name was there had been some kind of family scandal with the grandfather or gr grandfather. So no one knew much about the line. Since my Christ line came with Weiser to Tulpehocken, I have been working on that theory. And I did find a Seyler/Seiler there. No details as yet. On surface I don't believe I have much to help you. I don't recognize the FLUKE name, so probably haven't run across that particular line. We should keep in touch because I never say never in genealogy!!! Thanks again.
