Hello WEIDNER folks! I found this death notice in the Pottstown paper. Does anyone know who this Daniel WEIDNER was, with a brother living in Boyertown and a son in Birdsboro in 1889? I think he was David, not Daniel....see further. Montgomery Ledger, 4/30/1889 (Wed) "Daniel [sic David] Weidner, a prominent citizen of Reading, died last on Friday of typhoid pneumonia in his 65th year. He leaves a widow and 5 children. A son Frank resides in Birdsboro, and a brother, Benjamin, at Boyertown." WEIDNER m Elan H REITER on 1/3/1880. He was born in Richmond Twp, and she was born in Alsace. They were residents of Exeter when they married. She was age 20, and he was age 22 when married in Lutheran church by Rev. B D Zweizig.
