    3. Lindsay, I remember at one time you were trying to think of who built a house on the corner of Franklin and Phila. Ave. I found this article April 6, 1901 William K. LEFEVER moved into his handsome new residence corner of Franklin and Philadelphia Avenue. It doesn't say which corner here, but at this point in 1901, the Methodist church was on the northeast corner. I believe Ritter's was already on the southeast corner. Which leaves the southwest corners for Lefever's house. The one on the southeast corner was that big dark stone house with the arched porches. The one on the northeast corner was the one with the big columns....and I think that might have been built later than 1901. Of course the William K. Lefever house may have burned down and another house built in its place.....who knows. Does this information ring any bells for you. I'd like to add to the article which corner the Lefever house was on. Betty
