Good to see another distant cousin. I too, have been trying to find Anna Maria Sheneman's (wife to James Keenan) parents, and thanks to you, I guess I have, inadvertantly. I was researching them off and on, but couldn't find anything, so I focused soley on the Keenans, but I didn't find much there either. Until now. Do you have any exact birth and death dates for both Benjamin and Anna Maria? I'll have to put them in my database now. I have on up in worldconnect, exibiting my new found info on the Keenans and now for the Shenemans? What else do you have on Benjamin and Anna Maria? I can't remember where I got the info on James & Anna Maria (Sheneman) Keenan's burial info. I obviously have them at St Mary's, but I could be wrong. Have had that info for a few years now and haven't gone back and confirmed it a third time. I know I confirmed it once before, but that source ! could've been wrong unless it was thechurch that said so, then I guess they'd b right. I'll have to email them again. Mine is jdarment@yahoo.com, if you'd like to talk more about the Shenemans. I'm glad you said something about them. Now I have more info to add. Now concerning Benjamin being a son to James Keenan of West Nantmill, I'm assuming that because after James died, a Benjamin Keenan was an administrater for James' estate. Now, Benjamin was living i Lancaster in East Earl Twp. And I'm also assuming James is a son of Edward who lived in Vincent. According to the 1790 census for that twp, Edward only had one son. Which means James didn't have any brothers, so it stands to reason that that Benjamin was James' son. Or so I assume. The Rodger in West Nantmill in 1790 didn't have any sons, so the Benjamin couldn't have been a cousin either. Only connection he could've had to James was that of his son.
