I have asked this before and thought I might try again. A couple of people in their family file have a Philip Kline b. Jul. 14, 1816, Berks, County. Having such a specific date, I am trying to find out where they got this information from as it would help me greatly with this brick wall on the Philip Kline b. ca 1816 research I am doing This family lived in Hamburg/Windsor in 1840 census, his first son Alfred b. 1839 is listed as being born Hamburg, Berks County on his death record. Not sure, using census records, which Philip Kline he would be from other of areas Berks County before that date. This family might have been Lutheran. They are living in Philadelphia 1850-1860 censuses when our Philip died, his wife is listed as widow in of Philip in Philadelphia 1860 directory records and I have contacted a researcher in Philadelphia area trying to find his death/burial records there.
