Someone has a family tree listing Philip Kline b. July 14, 1816 Berks Co., but she has his father listed as Benjamin b. May 12, 1814. Another person's family tree has Benjamin b. July 21, 1791. Wife first is Sara Batz. Benjamin's parents are listed as Philip Kline and Catherine Schollenberger. And this Philip's parents listed as Philip Kline and Elizabeth Adams. In doing census record reseach, and I am trying to figure out what Benjamin Kline this would be in the 1820 census as there are 4 listed: 1 in Richmond, 1 in Upper Bern, 1 in Maxatawny, 1 in Bethel. Does anyone have any knowledge of this family and where these records/dates would have come from? I am especially interested in Philip Kline b. July 14, 1816, as I believe he is our line...a least the year of birth fits other records I have. His son, on his death record, is listed as being born 1839 in Hamburg, Bern Co. Per: 'The Descendants of Hans (Johannus) Klein' Philip Klein, son of Johannus, born 1772, died 1837 at 65 years. Philip, a farmer near Centreport, married Magdalena Hoag (Hoak). Philip buried at Belleman's Philip and Magdalena had a son John, born 1797, died 1835. He married Catharine Faust and had a son Benjamin. It shows Benjamin at Pottsville. Per: Death Records of Potsville Benjamin F Kline b. 4-1-1816 d. 5-10-1897 wife: Harriet, 1821 - 1889 daughter Louisa, 1851 - 1911 I also have a Benjamin b. 6-3-1784, father David, mother Catharine. Can you give me the names of any other Klines from the Christ (Mertz's) Lutheran besides the Benjamin Kline b. 1791 you previously sent to me? Also may be spelled Klein/Cline.
