Maureen & Diana: I have a death notice from the Parish Record of the Strausstown Lutheran Parish which adds to your information re: John and Matilda. Mrs. Elizabeth Martha Berger, nee Ulrich, daughter of John Ulrich and his wife, Matilda, nee Barnet, was born Feb. 16, 1857, at Adamstown, and was baptized in infancy. She was confirmed March 24, 1888, by Rev. Trexler, in Trinity Church. She was married Nov. 15, 1873, to Lewis F. Berger, by Rev. Dr. Schantz. She died Aug. 13, 1924, aged 67 yrs. 5 months, 27 days. The survivors are her husband, 4 daughters, 3 sons, 3 brothers, 1 sister, 11 grandchildren. The funeral took place Aug. 18. [burial at Trinity in Rehrersburg] 1850 Census, Lower Heidelberg, Berks Co PA Isaac Barnet, 40, Laborer; Mary Barnet, 40; Matilda Barnet, 16; Mary Barnet, 10; David Barnet, 5; John Barnet, 2. I have been looking (so far without success) for John Ulrich's parents. Would be appreciative of any clues to their identity.
