Hey Diana, I know you are getting a lot of requests so don't feel too rushed on mine, but when you get a minute can you see if there are any Barretts in Berks, Schuylkill and Lancaster counties in the late 1700s. My 4gr grandfather was Cyrus Barrett born in 1797 and his brother was Elias born in 1796. I have a strong, very strong, inkling (no proof) that they were born in Lancaster County area but don't know if it was Lancaster County in those years. Someone once found an Elias Barrett born to a Frederick but that is NOT the one I am looking for as there was no Cyrus born to the same Frederick. So... if you find any Barretts that match what I have mentioned, that would be soooo awesome since that is my massive brick wall. You may want to look at names that sound like Barrett that are not necessarily spelled that way. In one record Cyrus is spelled Syrius Parrot for example. Anyway, thanks for offering to look these births up.
